Ischemic stroke caused by long sleep duration on postmenopausal women
Many studies have working up correlation between mortality and sleep duration since many years ago. This article will try to explain why does long sleep duration as risky as the short one? Based on epidemiological evidence ofcourse.
We thought stay all night long is the only reason might get sick. Taking a long sleep duration is also could cause ischemic stroke in postmenopausal women, further 70% according to recent study. “But it is not clerly understand is the long sleep duration itself become the main cause of ischemic stroke, or where there another cause that could impact people getting sleep longer than usual, that might cause raise in stroke evidence itself” according study of Silvia Wassertheil-Smoller PhD from Albert Einstein College of Medicine, New York.
Otherwise, it doesn’t meant that when we reduce our sleep duration time then stroke possibility we could get is going down. It is not going that way. The study want to tell us that people with long sleep duration (more than 9 hours/day) is rather need to take consult with his/her doctor to determine other risk that could cause stroke also, such as hypertension.
